Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival

The Beer & BBQ Festival is a unique event held over 3 days. This event will showcase the growing number of Australian Craft Breweries and Cideries and International Breweries.

The festival will incorporate a BBQ theme and allow visitors to sample local, national and international beers while enjoying local BBQ themed food from local providers as well as guest interstate and international Pit Masters.

Furthermore, the festival will incorporate sideshows including educational components, games and entertainment throughout the weekend including the always popular Dad Bod Competition.

For the fourth year in a row the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival will return to the iconic Brick Dairy at the Adelaide Showgrounds to invigorate your winter!

ABBF happens over three days, you can either choose an individual session or go the ‘WHOLE HOG’ with a season pass to the entire weekend!

Friday July 6 – 5pm-11pm (18+)

‘BRIGHT LIGHTS, BEER CITY’ SESSION

Highlights include;

The Preatures, Jen Cloher, Gooch Palms & Mojo Juju with your host Matty Matheson.

Saturday July 7 – 11am-5pm (18+)

‘BEER GEEK: A HOP ODYSSEY’ SESSION

Highlights include;

Discussions with brewers and industry leaders about the future of beer, styles and how or why the hell you would start a craft beer label. Plus masterclasses and Q&As with chef’s. This is the session for the serious beer and BBQ fans.

Saturday July 7 – 6pm-12am (18+)

‘TOP OF THE HOPS’ SESSION

Highlights include;

Holy Holy, Bob Evans (solo) & Maddy Jane on the main stage with your host Matty Matheson.

Sunday July 8 – 11am-6pm (Family Friendly)

‘HAIR OF THE DOG’ SESSION

Highlights include;

The 1st Annual SBBF Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Championship, Hot Dog Eating Contest, Barber Battles and more. Plus discussions with brewers and industry leaders about the future of beer, styles and how or why the hell you would start a craft beer label.
