The Wedding Present Australian Tour
Post-punk/indie-rock band The Wedding Present are making their third visit to Australia this July. The Wedding Present are planning to play in Australia and New Zealand in July 2017. On these dates The Wedding Present will be performing a mixed 85 minute set consisting of songs selected from Going, Going… together with other material drawn from the band’s extensive back catalogue.
As well as returning to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne on their tour, the British four-piece, who released their ninth studio album Going, Going… last year, will play their first-ever shows in Adelaide and Fremantle, with supporting acts to be announced.
Melbourne fans are in for a treat as The Wedding Present have confirmed they will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album George Best by performing it in its entirety.
