Legendary Electronic Act Basement Jaxx Unveils Close Counters As Special Guest On Australian Tour Dates
The iconic Basement Jaxx will bring their euphoric full live show down under later this month. After relaunching their live touring with a triumphant set at Coachella 2025, followed by a huge series of shows across the UK & Ireland, now it’s Australia and New Zealand’s turn to experience it for the first time in the region since 2010.
Basement Jaxx unveils Australia’s own Close Counters as special guests on all local shows – with their full-live-band experience in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, with DJ and vocalist sets in Adelaide and Fremantle. Close Counters brings dance floor energy with live band soul; blending jazz, house, disco, and broken beat in a live offering that has garnered them a legion of fans right across the globe, recently performing at Glastonbury, The Great Escape and more in the UK.
Basement Jaxx’s tour commences in Christchurch at Electric Avenue Festival on Friday 27 February, followed by a show at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday 1 March, then Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Tuesday 3 March, Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday 5 March, before making its way to Melbourne for a show at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 7 March, Golden Plains Festival in Meredith on Sunday 8 March and concluding at Fremantle Prison on Wednesday 11 March.
